How's the party scene where you guys live?

I live 10 mins outside of Knoxville TN. We have one of the best football teams in the country, a pretty damn big university, and some fucking magazine or something rated UT one of the top 10 party schools in the US.

So on a scale from one to 10 (consdiering other places I've been ) I would give UT a very fair 8.5.

There's always a party, especially on weekends. It's like the shit you see in movies, 2 story houses FILLED with people elbow to elbow. I hate to brag, but fuck it, it's a partaayy! I'm just pumped because I'm about to go to a costume party with an estimated 200+ people there....

Cops are cool as shit...they never break up parties, they just stand there in a circle and wiat for someone to leave the party. I'm underage as fuck and can drink right in front of cops.

So how's the party scene where you guys live?

partying with random strangers is the best. It's so cool to have no idea who someone is and they're just being so cool and everyone's having a great time. I'm sorry you come from a sketchy enviorment. It's a pretty brotherly love type of atmosphere. I mean, there's the occasoinal shit that gets started, but nothing major. Just show up, buy a cup, drink all you want.

But if a cop sees you leave and you look real drunk they might try to get you for public intox or something...I've walked right by cops stumbling my ass off and they don't do anything. Walking down the streets yelling on a Saturday night is pretty normal.

Boston easily is in the top 3 in the united states, College city.

There's a certain area around here called allston, all it is college kids and college partys, most of them are fags, but, kegs, bitches, weed, I can't complain. Cops are generally nice. And if the parties get old, there's always the bars.

You really can't knock it until you try it, even a high times magazine said Knoxville was one of the top 10 places to get bud. I know high times is kinda lame, but I'm sure they've tried many more places other than knoxville...

Yea dude, you're totally missing the point. The point of this was just to see how your city parties, not worldwide best party cities. And I meant real countries, not shitty developing countries...

fuck loundon, the common sense you are using doesn't add up already. People from New York and Los Angelos come here and think we're crazy, and they are a much bigger city than knoxville...it has nothing to do with the population, just the sub-culture with in that city.

But sure there are some 3rd world countrys in the list, but thats what makes them so great..the bars and clubs are just as clean and modern as in rich countrys, probably better imo as its cheaper do them up...drinks are cheap, food is cheap..and the majors will let the whole town become clubs and bars, because it brings in tourists that bring in money. the average age of the town drops to below 35..plus the whole excitent of being somewhere so different.

There's like no cities in TN basically...all of east tennessee and even parts of kentucky flock to knoxville. I have friends who live in kentucky and knoxville is the closet place they can get liquor.

the cops are cool, the sports are huge, the people are nice, and it gets rowdy...

It's not the best place to party in the world, but considering it's small, culture orientated atmosphere with all kinds of people crammed into one small area, it makes for a hell of a party..

medical marijuana clubs themselves are a pretty good example of why people in california are tools

most of the people who go to them don't need to, which ruins it for the people who actually are looking for something to make the process of dying or living with body parts lopped off a little less agonizing, and then it also ruins the idea of medical marijuana for people who would actually like to see what sort of biochemical research they can do with some of the chemicals

and then on top of that they're still illegal, they have a goddammed catalog of people who are breaking the law, and all it takes for them to all be screwed over is some law and order fucker to be elected to office on pretty much any level. but they still pretend like they're untouchable

and then they act like it's the only way you can get decent weed too....

This weekend I took part in some serious partying. It was after prom, so as is tradition, shitloads of kids from schools in my area go down to this one town in south Jersey right on the beach (it's much nicer than our beaches) and destroy the place for a few days. We bought out a motel, had disco balls, blacklights, and strobelights goin on in my room, non-stop jamming with the bongos, acoustic guitars, singing, rapping, beatboxing, and random objects (like beer bottles.) There was more than enough weed and alcohol to be smoked and drank freely. In fact there was so much weed that when I came home I found enough stuck to my socks to get me baked. And the cops did nothing about any of it. There was like a 10 vs. 20 brawl outside our motel of natives against my school (the natives retreated when they started getting fucked up and even more of my people ran out), and all the cops really did was drive by and make some noise. Then when like 3 people were left they just talked to them. I'm not gonna go into too much detail cuz it would take forever, but damn, to me, this was just ridiculous.
